The PX1-S2-2I2E is a 2-ch Serial ATA II 3 Gbps to PCI Express Host Adapter Card. It has two internal SATA ports and two external eSATA ports. The card is designed to provide multiple port serial ATA connectivity with minimal host overhead and host to device latency. The card supports a 1-lane 2.5 Gb/s PCI Express bus and the Serial ATA Generation 2 transfer rate of 3.0 Gb/s (300 MB/s). The card features on board jumper selection, which enables you to configure the card to provide 2 internal or external SATA II ports, or one of each, as needed.

The card is fully compliant with the SATA revision 2.0 specification (up to 3Gbps of data bandwidth), enabling you to utilize the speeds of high performance hard drives and Solid State Drives (SSD), as well as SATA-based optical drives (CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Blu-Ray).
